Iceland

2018. A place of wonder, it is a magical place. A small group of about a dozen photographers and a few guides headed out from Reykjavik into the Western Fjords, staying at quaint B&B establishments for the most part. Food, mostly from the sea, was wonderful, fresh fillets and meaty chowders accented by potatoes, my favorite! And of course, my companions were interesting and fun. From the West, we headed South to Vik, a town on a black sand beach on the way to Jokulsarlon Lagoon with many mountains and waterfalls and glaciers in between. I would return in a heartbeat. I have written two blogs on Iceland, not my last.
