Often I am making photographs that may not fit into a specific project, or they might, but I just haven’t had time to really curate the collection. Photographs on this page come from very recent work and may be posted elsewhere in one of the other projects; or not, if I don’t know how I feel about it yet. I will only post up to 12 images at a time. Also, this section may change a bunch in a very short period of time. Send me feedback if you see something that speaks to you.

Porto Passage: The just shall walk by faith, the substance of things hoped for, the proof of things unseen. Claustrophobic because death waits around the corner and the only choice is to move forward. I was moved by the structure and the light at the time I took the picture. When I work on it, I am savoring the memory of that moment the image called to me. I try to match the memory of that feeling to draw the viewer's eye to what caught my attention. The interpretation doesn't come until afterwards. If it lures and obscures, I have succeeded. It pulls me forward and forces me around the edge by faith.
